All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our worksites. “Safe Work Practices and Procedures” will be clearly defined in the Company Safety Manual for all employees to follow.

Risks will be managed to prevent occupational injuries and sickness, through proper work planning, health and safety training, hazard identification, inspection and incident investigation. FEEC has established policies, practices and procedures that are compliant with appropriate occupational legislation.

The training and development of FEEC employees and contractors is a critical part of the safety program. Management is responsible for providing health and safety training to enable employees to acquire the knowledge and awareness to protect themselves and others from potential harm.


First Environment Erosion Controls, Inc employees, contractors and visitors are responsible and accountable for providing a safe working environment and fostering safe working attitudes and habits. All employees share the company’s genuine commitment to health and safety which is supported by a firm, fair and consistent enforcement policy. Contractors are required to follow the Safety Management System and enhance their own Safe Work Practices and Procedures, where applicable.

Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisors and employees, contractors/subcontractors, visitors.
